Attendees gained a strong understanding for assessing their own risk infrastructure and making improvements.
Diving deeper into risk, Anna Valdez, CGMS, Director for Systems Implementations for our partner, Witt O’Brien’s | Ambipar Response delved into what the OMB Uniform Guidance outlines for risk assessments from both the grant maker and applicant perspective. The insights she shared from her extensive experience gave grant makers solid direction for conducting effective assessments. Grant seekers in attendance learned how to position themselves favorably and proactively address any past assessment findings.
Wrapping up the series, Jennifer Zarek, CGMS, LSSYB, AmpliFund Implementation Team Lead, offered solid advice for avoiding risk. Reviewing actual examples of common audit findings, Jennifer walked attendees through the lessons learned and tips for avoiding these findings.
